Barron’s Published Bob Kargenian’s Letter to the Editor
Bob Kargenian was quoted in a Letter to the Editor in Barron’s, a weekly newspaper that covers financial information, relevant statistics, and market developments.
According to Kargenian, “For years now, economists have been baffled as to why the U.S. economy has failed to achieve even 3% gross-domestic-product growth. But now we know the answer. In “Tap and Trade: Apps Target Young Investors” (Dec. 9), Crystal Kim first states that Robinhood has amassed over three million users in less than four years. We then learned that, according to its co-founder Baiju Bhatt, Robinhood customers, on average, check their apps 10 times a day.
“Just imagine how strong the economy might be if these people would actually do their job, instead of worrying about their stock portfolios.”
